PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The BioAerosol Monitoring System Robot (BAMS Robot) provides fully automated, continuous monitoring of both biological and inert airborne particles, delivering real-time results without the need for reagents. The system detects microorganisms containing metabolites (such as NADPH and riboflavin) which naturally fluoresce when excited by instrument’s targeted laser wavelength. Particle and biological counts are reported across size ranges from 0.5 µm to 25 µm.
Equipped with LiDAR and a SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithm, the robot navigates complex environments with high precision, ensuring accurate positioning and obstacle avoidance. Sampling locations and movement paths can be predefined and optimized to support fully autonomous operation. The unit is capable of traversing designated facility areas, automatically opening and closing doors, riding elevators, and returning to its charging station when battery levels are low.

OPERATIONAL BENEFITS
The BAMS Robot integrates our portable BioAerosol Monitoring System with our EMC Robot Control Software, an intuitive, standalone tool within the EM-CCS platform. Accessible via tablets, smartphones, and PCs, the software enables wireless communication with the robot to schedule tasks and automate active air sampling in controlled environments.
Automated navigation and sampling reduce human presence in critical areas, lowering contamination risk and minimizing errors in sampling location and timing. By automating routine operations, the system improves resource allocation and operational efficiency. Optional temperature and humidity sensors allow for continuous collection and storage of environmental data.
