BAMS principle: BAMS is a rapid monitoring instrument for planktonic bacteria based on the principle of laser-induced biofluorescence technology. BAMS uses 405nm laser to induce fluorescence from metabolic compounds (such as NADH, riboflavin, etc.) in the body of biological particles, and the number of biological particles can be judged according to the number of fluorescence; meanwhile, BAMS uses Mie scattering optics to measure the particle size and number of total particles in the air. Therefore, BAMS can simultaneously monitor the number of biological particles and total particles in the environment.
BAMS provides real-time environmental monitoring data for medical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and cosmetic fields so that problems can be identified and immediate action can be taken to avoid huge losses. Real-time data also means that no incubation time is required, which can increase efficiency, and BAMS detects planktonic bacteria without consumables, which can reduce your production costs.
